Course Description:

Bill recently became the Title Operations Manager for Old Republic Title, Ltd. in October, 2024. He brings more than 50 years of title industry experience to his role, as well as many years of involvement in both the Washington Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association.
In 2017, Bill was appointed by the Washington State Supreme Court to serve on the Limited Practice Board, which regulates the Limited Practice Officers of this state. He served as Chair for the 2022-23 term.
In 2018, Bill was awarded the designation of a Washington Title Professional by the Washington Land Title Association and National Title Professional by the American Land Title Association.
He recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Washington Land Title Association, after serving 37 years on the board of directors while also serving as Agents Chair, Legislative Co-Chair and President for three different terms.
Bill graduated from Lynden High School, attended Western Washington State College, and then began his career as a title clerk at Ticor Title, later becoming a title officer, escrow officer and branch manager in the Ticor system. He was employed in management with Land Title and Escrow of Skagit and Island Counties for the 30 preceding his 10 year employment with Whatcom Land Title.
