Carolyn Monroe

President & Chief Executive Officer,
Old Republic National Title Holding Company and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company

Carolyn is President and Chief Executive Officer of Old Republic National Title Holding Company and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, and serves in an additional role as Senior Vice President of Old Republic International Corporation (ORI), Old Republic Title’s parent company.

Carolyn has over 40 years of progressive experience and leadership in both direct and agency operations in the title insurance industry. Since joining Old Republic Title in 2009, she has taken on roles of increasing responsibilities and geographic exposure, such as Senior Vice President, Southwest Region Direct Operations Manager and President of Old Republic Title Holding Company based out of San Francisco. Carolyn was promoted and appointed to President of Old Republic National Title Holding Company in January 2019 and named Chief Executive Officer in January 2023. Just prior to joining the Company, she was a Senior Vice President at another national title insurance company. Her experiences also include being President of the largest independent title agent in New Mexico, Board President of New Mexico NAIOP, and Chair for the Board of Albuquerque Economic Development and Albuquerque Economic Forum.

Ivy Anderson

Executive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
President, Old Republic Western Title, Inc. (Western Title Division)

Ivy joined the Company in 2008 as a Regional Manager and has been in the title insurance industry for more than 40 years, leading title and escrow companies in the western United States.

Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Ivy led several multi-state title companies and served as Chief Executive Officer and President of a privately owned regional title company that served the west. She also held the position of Chief Financial Officer for many years prior. She is a member of the American Land Title Association.

Curtis Hoffman

Executive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
President, Old Republic Central Title, Inc. (Central Title Division)

Curtis has served in executive and senior management roles in the title insurance and real estate industries for over 40 years. He joined Old Republic Title in 2010 and, in his current position, he is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s agency and direct operations in 23 states that comprise the Central Title Division. Additionally, he serves as a member of Old Republic Title’s Executive Leadership Team.

Curtis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas and serves as a board member for local and international faith-based organizations.

Dana Solms

Executive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
President, Old Republic Eastern Title, Inc. (Eastern Title Division)

Dana originally joined Old Republic Title in 1988 as an Agency Representative. After graduating from law school, he rejoined the Company in 1993 as Associate Counsel for the New Hampshire operations. In 1998, Dana became Branch Manager and State Counsel for Old Republic in New Hampshire. He was later promoted to Northern New England Manager, overseeing operations throughout New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. In 2004, he was named New England States Manager, followed by appointments to Vice President and Senior Vice President. In 2017, Dana joined Old Republic Title’s Executive Leadership Team and was named Executive Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and President of Old Republic Eastern Title, Inc. (Eastern Title Division).

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire’s Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire, Dana earned his Juris Doctor in 1992, and his Bachelor of Arts in 1985 from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. He is a member of the Bar Associations for New Hampshire and Maine, the New England Land Title Association, and the American Land Title Association.

Sandra Schoen

Executive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
Director, Agency Operations

Sandy joined Old Republic Title in 1997 and has more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles with the Company in both direct and agency operations management. Sandy has held numerous managerial positions since joining the Company. These include New Hampshire State Manager, New England Area Manager and Northeast Region Manager. In 2017, she was appointed Senior Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and promoted to Director of Operations for the Eastern Title Division. She joined the Company’s Executive Leadership Team and was appointed Executive Vice President in 2023, while simultaneously being promoted to the additional role of Agency Operations Director. She has been a leader in the development of national products and services during her tenure at Old Republic Title.

Sandy is a graduate of Keene State College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Southern New Hampshire. She is a member of the American Land Title Association and Past President of the New England Land Title Association.

William Rossi

Executive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
Chief Operating Officer, Enterprise Services

Bill oversees the Company’s Enterprise Services division, working with Old Republic Title’s major lines of business to adapt infrastructures, strategies and solutions to support the entire enterprise and further strengthen the menu of services offered in local and national segments. Enterprise Services includes operations through its: Lenders Services, National Agency Services (NAS), Specialized Agency Services (ORSAS), Specialized Commercial Services (ORSCS), Old Republic Exchange (ORE/1031 Exchange), Relocation and OR EscrowPro.

Bill joined the Company in 2013 as a Vice President and Sales and Operations Manager for its National Services Division. Later that year, he was promoted to National Sales Manager for Old Republic Title Residential Information Services (ORTRIS) and appointed First Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. In 2017, he was named Senior Vice President and General Manager of ORTRIS and was promoted two years later to Chief Operating Officer of the National Services Division, now called Enterprise Services. Bill was appointed Executive Vice President in 2023 and joined the Company’s Executive Leadership Team. A veteran of the title insurance industry, he has been working in the field for nearly 30 years. He studied business at Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania and is a member of ALTA and the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Chief Financial Officer

Kurt joined Old Republic Title in 2019 as Controller for the Eastern Title Division. He also led several special financial projects and initiatives for the Company. He was promoted to Deputy Chief Financial Officer and appointed Senior Vice President in 2023 and then was named Chief Financial Officer in November 2024 and appointed Executive Vice President.

Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Kurt was a director at a consulting firm that specializes in accounting and business process improvement. He began his career as an auditor with a national public accounting firm before joining another national title insurance underwriter, where he worked for 12 years in various roles, including Regional Controller and Senior Vice President of Agency Operations. He has more than 30 years of experience in a broad range of leadership roles within the title insurance, mortgage, and property and casualty insurance industries. A Certified Public Accountant and graduate of the University of Georgia, Kurt earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Michelle LenahanExecutive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
Chief Digital, Marketing & Communications Officer

Michelle joined the Company in July 2013 as Senior Vice President and Western Title Division Marketing Manager. In that role, she was responsible for managing marketing in support of the Company’s operations in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. In December 2017, Michelle was promoted to Marketing Manager for Old Republic Title. She was appointed Executive Vice President and promoted to Chief Digital, Marketing and Communications Officer in March 2022.

Michelle has nearly 30 years of experience in the title insurance industry. Her career background includes roles as an account executive and sales manager, for which she has received several awards in the areas of production, service and leadership. She has led a dynamic team of sales and marketing executives, managed an operation, and worked closely with title agents, real estate professionals and lenders to navigate the changing markets. Michelle has been a guest speaker at real estate and trade association meetings and a past president of the Lion’s Club. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, she earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology.

Susan Yost

Executive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
Chief Human Resources Officer

Susan joined the Company in June 2022 as Senior Vice President, leading the charge on our new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and centralizing the HR function. She was appointed Executive Vice President and promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer in January 2023. In her current role, Susan oversees Old Republic Title’s HR strategy, talent acquisition, HR Partners, leadership development, HRIS, learning, compensation, benefits and payroll. She is passionate about creating an environment where development and investment in talent are a priority for the organization and leadership team.

With over 20 years of HR leadership experience, Susan's background includes HR leadership roles at Fortune 500 organizations. Prior to joining Old Republic Title, she was Executive Vice President, Human Resources for a one of the nation’s top business technology providers. She received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and history from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.

Jeffery Bluhm

Executive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company Executive Liaison, Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, Inc. (The Fund)

Jeffery joined the Company in 1982 and has served in multiple capacities, including: Internal Auditor, Regional Controller, Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. He was appointed Executive Vice President in February 2015 and was Manager of Agency Services and Administration until 2020, when he became Executive Liaison, Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, Inc. (The Fund). He has been a frequent speaker at various industry-related events and also is a member of the Company’s innovation team.

A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Jeffery earned a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is very active within the American Land Title Association (ALTA) serving with lengthy tenure on several ALTA committees.

Rob Zellar headshot

Chief Strategy Officer

Rob joined the Company in 2008 as a Vice President and Business Development Representative for the National Agency Services Division and, during his career at Old Republic Title, has held various leadership roles in business development. He was appointed Executive Vice President, named Director of Corporate Development and joined Old Republic Title’s Executive Leadership Team in March 2017. In March 2020, Rob was promoted to President of Old Republic National Title Services, Inc. (the National Services Division) and, three years later, he was named Chief Strategy Officer at Old Republic Title.

Prior to joining the Company, Rob worked in the development of a national internet-based real estate marketing and automated valuation model (AVM) solution. He played a key role in expanding affiliate title and mortgage operations with the nation’s fourth largest real estate company, where he led one of the country’s largest affiliated joint venture mortgage companies. Rob’s experience also includes various roles in title and settlement operations, including COO and principal owner of one of the Midwest’s largest title agency operations based in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio, and pursued post-graduate studies in the MBA program at Bowling Green State University’s Graduate School of Business. He was awarded an executive education certificate for the completion of “AI Applications for Growth” from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Rob has actively served on various industry boards, most recently on the Mortgage Bankers Association Residential Board of Governors.

 

Mark Budzinski

Mark joined the Company in 1990 as Assistant Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Associate Counsel. He has 40 years of industry experience and has been an attorney for 40 years, as well. During his career with the Company, Mark has worked in numerous leadership and legal capacities, including: Colorado Agency Manager and Counsel, Law and Corporate Affairs, General Counsel of Law and Corporate Affairs, and Executive Vice President, Law and Corporate Affairs for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Old Republic National Title Holding Company. In March 2015, Mark was appointed Executive Vice President and promoted to Chief Legal Officer of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and General Counsel of Old Republic Title Insurance Group.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, Mark went on to earn a juris doctor degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. He is a member of the American Land Title Association.

Kevin Chiarello

General Counsel, Old Republic National Title Holding Company

Kevin joined the Company in July 2019. He has been an attorney for nearly 40 years. Prior to joining Old Republic Title, he was Division Counsel for another national title insurance underwriter, where he began working in 1996. He served in several capacities there, including: Divisional Counsel and Compliance Officer; Chief Compliance Officer for the parent company; General Counsel and Sales Manager for an attorney services subsidiary; and National Litigation Manager.

Before his career in the title insurance industry, Kevin was a partner at a Los Angeles-based law firm, where he was a trial lawyer for 10 years. Active in a number of title industry organizations, he is a past president of the California Land Title Association and served on its Board of Governors in 2008. He has been a member of the California Bar Association since 1985. Kevin was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District of California in 1987. He is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in history. He earned his juris doctor degree at the University of Santa Clara in Santa Clara, California.

David Wold

Industry Relations & Strategic Initiatives
Corporate Secretary, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company

Dan is responsible for monitoring and advising on national developments affecting the title insurance industry and assists with strategic initiatives relating to developments impacting the Company due to changes and challenges confronting the industry. Prior to 2020, he was the Company’s General Counsel and managed the underwriting, regulatory and transactional group of the Company’s Corporate Legal Department. Dan formerly served as a partner at a law firm with an emphasis on bankruptcy, real estate, banking law and commercial litigation. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and a juris doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Dan is active in the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and is a past president. He served on ALTA’s Board of Governors from 2015 to 2023. His presidential year was in 2022 and he served as immediate past president in 2023. Since 2009, he has served on various other ALTA committees and task forces either as a participant or as chair.

Chris Lieser

Executive Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
Executive Advisor, Corporate Finance

Chris joined the Company in 1984 as a Tax and Financial Analyst. Throughout his years of service at Old Republic Title, he has worked in a variety of progressively critical roles in Corporate Finance, including: Senior Tax and Financial Analyst, Claims and Tax Manager, Financial Manager for the Eastern and Central Title Divisions, and Finance and Accounting/Controller. In 2014, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, followed by an appointment to Executive Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company in 2015. In November 2024, Chris transitioned to an advisory role in Corporate Finance.

Chris is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. He holds a Master of Business Taxation degree from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Kent has been an attorney for more than 15 years. In 2024, he was appointed Senior Vice President and promoted to Deputy General Counsel where he assists the General Counsel in all legal matters of Old Republic National Title Holding Company and its subsidiaries.

Kent joined Old Republic Title in 2010 as Claims Counsel. Prior to that, he served as Claims Counsel at another national title insurance underwriter. In 2016, he was appointed Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and became Counsel for the National Services Division (now Enterprise Services), providing underwriting assistance to national title agents and working with the direct businesses of the division on contracts, underwriting, regulatory matters, employment matters, litigation and claims. Kent earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, and Juris Doctor degree from the Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska.
